Crystal raindrops on a window Crystal tears on a face Both racing to an end On their way to someplace. A raindrop's beginning is anger From black clouds in the sky A teardrop's beginning is anything As just a little trickle in your eye. Rain is for growing when it's dry We welcome it then and shout hooray Tears can be happy ones that fall Like your child at school's first day. Rain is sometimes not a welcome sight Falling when it's not needed Tears can fall because of sadness As to your emotions you heeded. They're happy, they're sad, they can be both But through it all, they will remain Beautiful crystals to gaze upon The teardrops and the rain. To all things, there comes an end The sun will shine, the face will smile The rain will stop, the tears will too The ending makes it all worthwhile.
Well, this is the unsticking place. You'll find a new visual or random-words inspiration every single day just for artists, writers, and the terminally creative. Once you've scared away The Block, post your work in the comments or leave a link for us to visit. Let's start a creative pandemic.
These are the folks who've bravely posted their work here on EasyStreet, or who have posted responses on their own sites and left us a link. Admire their work, comment like crazy, and support the creative in all of us.

CRYSTALS
Crystal raindrops on a window
Crystal tears on a face
Both racing to an end
On their way to someplace.
A raindrop's beginning is anger
From black clouds in the sky
A teardrop's beginning is anything
As just a little trickle in your eye.
Rain is for growing when it's dry
We welcome it then and shout hooray
Tears can be happy ones that fall
Like your child at school's first day.
Rain is sometimes not a welcome sight
Falling when it's not needed
Tears can fall because of sadness
As to your emotions you heeded.
They're happy, they're sad, they can be both
But through it all, they will remain
Beautiful crystals to gaze upon
The teardrops and the rain.
To all things, there comes an end
The sun will shine, the face will smile
The rain will stop, the tears will too
The ending makes it all worthwhile.
